GASHADOKURO

The Gashadokuro or the Hungry Skeleton is a supremely evil entity. This creature resembles a GIANT skeleton sometimes up to 90 feet tall. Formed from hundreds or even thousands of angry spirits of those who starved to death. The Gashadokuro loves nothing more than to catch a human and bite their head off to drink their blood like a gruesome soft drink!

KITSUNE

The Kitsune are fox spirits who can change into human form at will. In fact the word Kitsune just means foxes. The kitsune fall into two camps one good and one nasty. Sadly most are in the latter group.

UMIBOZU

The Umibozu is a horrible creature that lives in the sea. Some say they are the angry spirits of monks that have been drowned in the sea. They have been reported in many forms but they all have one thing in common a dark smooth dome head that resembles the shaved scalp of a monk. They are fond of killing seafaring people in ... creative ways and depressing riddles.

YUKI-ONNA

The Yuki-Onna is a hard creature to nail down. Her behavior ranges from Good , to Evil, to Incomprehensible. She is the snow lady who is often the cause of death for those that have frozen to death or disappeared in the winter. Some say she is a helpful servant of a mountain god who looks over the villages and helps them if they are lost in the winter. Others say she is a vengeful spirit.
